Palms Casino Resort Iconic Las Vegas Venue
Even those of us who’ve only ever dreamed of going to Las Vegas have probably heard of The Palms – or Palms Casino Resort, as it is officially titled. Since its star-studded grand opening in 2001, Palms Casino Resort has played host to countless celebrities and exclusive high-profile events and is famous for being one of the most expensive places to stay in the world.
Since its launch, the venue has experienced exponential expansion, with three sky-scraping hotel towers, a recording studio, full-sized basketball court, spas, swimming pools, gaming centres, and more being added over the past decade and a half.
Casino and Sports Betting Centre
The Palms Casino Resort is exactly what you’d expect from an award-winning Las Vegas resort – especially when it comes to the main attraction of any such destination – the casino floor itself. The casino occupies a 95000-square-foot expanse, featuring the full gamut of table games in addition to over 1 300 of the latest slots and video poker machines. Also available are luxurious lounges, bars and restaurants, where players can enjoy some downtime between games.
One of the newest additions to the Palms Casino Resort is its cutting-edge race and sportsbook. Resembling a movie theatre, this betting centre features 1 200 square feet of flat-screen TVs plus 120 seats with individual screens for 24/7 sports and other betting.
The Three Palms Hotel Towers
Despite its off-strip location on West Flamingo Road, the Palms Casino Resort cuts one of the most imposing figures of any venue in Vegas. This is because, in addition to its massive ground-floor casino, the Palms Casino Resort features three separate towers of sky-scraping elevation.
- Palms Ivory Tower
This was the first of the Palms Casino Resort towers to be erected and features 428 premier guestrooms, recently voted as the best in the US. It is perhaps most famous for its Real World Suite, so named because it was remodelled for and used as the set of 2002 reality show, “The Real World: Las Vegas”.
- Palms Fantasy Tower
Erected in 2005, the Fantasy Tower at the Palms Casino Resort was conceived as a total escape from everyday reality. It is little wonder then that this Palms Casino Resort Hotel features luxurious adult-playground-like accommodations such as the Kingpin Suite, Hot Pink Suite, Sky Villa Suite, Hardwood Suite and others.
- Palms Place Hotel & Spa
The Palms Casino Resort offers a home-away-from-home experienced at its most recently erected tower – the Palms Place Hotel & Spa. This venue boasts a prestigious four diamonds from the AAA and features 599 elegantly appointed suites.
Palms Casino Resort Entertainment and Leisure
The Ivory Tower, which has the most contemporary feel of the three hotels, is also home to the Ghostbar nightclub, Alize French Restaurant, and N9NE steakhouse.
Meanwhile, at the top of the Fantasy Tower – right up on the 52nd floor – is also where Palms Casino Resort guests will find the NOVE Italiano restaurant, with incredible views of Las Vegas sprawled out below.
Palms Place is Palms Casino Resort guests’ escape from the hustle and bustle of the casino below, where they can relax in the Palm Place Pool or at the Drift Spa or socialise at Café 6 or the Rojo Lounge.
And these are just some of the many leisure and entertainment attractions on offer at the Palms Casino Resort. Also included are many more nightclubs and lounges, a recording studio used by A-list musicians, the Pearl Concert Theatre, a cinema, swimming pools, and more.
